Welcome new interested families!
Enrolling your child into a Suzuki program can bring about a life-long learning adventure for you and your family with many benefits.
The parent attends every 30 minute lesson with the child at their school and practices with the child at home. If you are interested in our program, please follow these three steps:
1. Please watch this video “Suzuki Cooperative in Action.” It will give you information on Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy and his philosophy in action.
Committing to the program means practicing daily with your child and listening daily to the Suzuki music/recordings. Daily practicing will build technique and daily listening will help develop your child’s musical ear. If these two activities become a part of your family’s daily life, the Suzuki experience can be very rewarding.
Additionally, participation in group lessons is a necessary part of Suzuki training. Flute group lessons are on selected Friday late afternoons. String group lessons are on selected Saturday mornings at Walnut Hills High School. These group lessons occur approximately two times per month. Parents attend all private and group lessons.
2. Please watch the following two 2 mini Suzuki lessons online before applying and scheduling lessons: mini lesson 1 and mini lesson 2. These are examples of typical private Suzuki lessons.
3. After reading the letter and watching the mini lessons, please fill out this google form: Suzuki Lessons Interest Form (updated) or Formulario de Interés en lecciones Suzuki.
A Suzuki Teacher will contact you for scheduling your lesson time, and then you may register. New Families may register with only the permission of one of our Suzuki Teachers (the registration form is different from the Interest Form above).
DO NOT submit Suzuki Tuition Fees to the schools. Instead, see our Tuition and Payments page.
